Interact Excellence Awards 2021

Medvivo wins two highly commended awards at the global Interact Excellence Awards 2021.

We are delighted to announce we have been recognised in both the Best Offline Worker Strategy and Best Stakeholder categories in the 11th annual Interact Excellence Awards 2021, alongside nominees including UK HealthCare, Indeed, Co-operative Bank, British Red Cross and NBA.

The international Interact Excellence Awards 2021 celebrates those organisations and individuals at the forefront of digital workplace strategy, employee engagement, and innovative internal communications.

This year’s cohort of entries was judged by an independent panel of technology experts. Each category explored outstanding examples of design, internal communication, and the use of digital tools to solve a range of complex business challenges.

“The standard of entries this year was incredibly high, with customers using the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic to transform their internal communications strategies,” remarks Kris Morrison, Vice President of Customer Success of Interact.

“The role of the digital workplace has become vital to company culture, and this year all of our winners truly embodied innovation and creativity on their intranet. They produced exceptional results for their organization, and this award is a testament to that skill and ingenuity. We’re incredibly proud to be the supporting force behind them."

Corporate Communications Coordinator, Karen Manning, said: "Our intranet is the workplace hub where everyone can connect, communicate and collaborate. When you have a workforce that is split between office-based and remote working, there are always challenges to engage the entire workforce. With the pandemic, and fewer staff based in the office, it was even more important to maintain that engagement.

"We have launched several activities using the intranet to ensure everyone feels connected, including piloting a new peer-to-peer recognition programme and "keep in touch" forums and events where staff could arrange online coffee or lunch breaks, share photos and listen to music playlists.

"To further keep spirits lifted during the pandemic, we also focused on a number of offline activities which included sending thank you letters to children of our staff who had to keep working to support NHS services, sending gifts of kindness to nominated colleagues and setting up wellbeing challenges to keep everyone engaged and active.

"We are so pleased that our staff engage with the intranet and make use of these various initiatives; and we are grateful to Interact for providing the functionality that enables us to keep coming up with new ideas and ways to engage with our workforce."
