Medvivo COVID-19 Risk Assessment

Medvivo COVID-19 Risk Assessment

Below is a summary of Medvivo’s approach to reducing the risks associated with COVID-19 for its work force and working environment.

Managing Teams and Partners

  • Team members (i.e. anyone employed by or delivers services on behalf of Medvivo) who can work from home have the opportunity to work in accordance with a Hybrid Working policy.
  • Individual risk assessments are completed for team members who are clinically extremely vulnerable or at additional risk.
  • Face-to-face meetings and training are undertaken if essential for safe operations, otherwise the sessions are hosted virtually.
  • Partners with whom space is shared have aligned safety measures.
  • Visitors will be screened before arriving to ensure they do not turn up with symptoms.

Safe Working Practices

  • Medvivo adheres to the latest Government guidelines as a minimum.
  • The main call centre and other operational sites are reconfigured in line with national guidance, including socially distanced desks wherever possible, and screen installations.
  • Team members must not enter a work location if they have symptoms, are awaiting a PCR test result or have received a positive PCR result. Guidance for testing and self-isolating is reviewed and communicated in response to national and local changes.
  • Safe working guidance has been communicated to all team members and signage has been provided for wearing masks, ventilating workspaces, sharing vehicles, hand hygiene, and social distancing.
  • Medvivo may implement additional safety measures to ensure the safety of patients and team members.

Cleaning and Hygiene Measures

  • Hygiene and ventilation controls are in place at all locations.
  • PPE is available in line with national guidance and commensurate to specific team member roles.
  • All work stations, equipment and regular touchpoints are cleaned and wiped after use.

Support

  • Services are available for team members who may require additional support for their mental and physical wellbeing during pressurised and challenging times.

Medvivo’s COVID risk assessment and safe working measures are regularly reviewed and updated to ensure they align with current government guidance.
